Date of issue: 11 May 2011. Images and inscriptions of observe and back sides of coins are relief. The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation. Averse: right part depicts stylized image of pelican head, the face value of the coin «50 ТЕҢГЕ», trade mark of Kazakhstan Mint; left part depicts two birds against water surface background; name of issuing bank in Kazakh «ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ» along circumference. Reverse: image of hawk-owl, name of the coin «ҚАРШЫҒА РЕНДІ ЖАПАЛАҚ» in Kazakh language and «SURNIA ULULA» in Latin; year of coinage “2010”.
