Sviyatoslav Nikolayevich Rerikh (b. 23.10.1904– d. 30.01.1993) – Russian painter, Honorary Member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1978) who lived in India andpainted portraits (N.K.Rerikh, 1934), landscapes, symbolic compositions (A Snake Magician). + a portrait of S.N. Rerikh, under it – the facsimile signature of the artist «СВЯТОСЛАВ РЕРИХ» (SVIYATOSLAV RERIKH) and the dates in two lines «1904» «1993», in the background – a range of alps. + in the centre – the Emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, lower – the semicircular inscription – «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim: at the top – «ДВА РУБЛЯ «(TWO RUBLES), at the bottom – the year of issue «2004», the letters to the left indicate the metal sign and the fineness, to the right – the fine metal content and the mint trade mark + The artist: A.V.
