Along the edge are the Latin word “EQUUS” and number 10 in Braille Alphabet. On the left upper part of the coin above the horse is the nominal value of the coin (10). The reverse bears an embossed circular surface with number 10 impressed. Along the edge run clockwise the inscription “REPUBLIKA SLOVENIJE” (Republic of Slovenia) and the denomination in words reading “DESET TOLARJEV” (ten Tolars). Between the words DESET (ten) and TOLARJEV (Tolars) the year of mintage “2000” is horizontally inscribed.
