In the left upper part a semicircular inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 10 ZŁ (REPUBLIC OF POLAND) and the year of emission: 2009. Under the left foot of the eagle a symbol of the mint: M/W. Reverse: To the right a stylized figure of Rev. Jerzy Popiełuszko. To the left, in the background, a stylized image of the territory of Poland and the Vistula river, as well as a stylized image of a drop of blood made of a red zircon. Underneath an inscription: 25.
