Poland 10 Zlotych 2008 - 90th Ann. Of the Greater Poland Uprising - Proof / Silver

Obverse: At the top, there is an image of the eagle established as a state emblem of the Republic of Poland. The notation of the date of issue, 20-08, is located at the sides of the eagle. Under the eagle there is an image of marching column of the Polish riflemen of the Grater Uprising, and a mounted commander. There is an inscription in the rim: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA, and at the bottom: 10 ZŁ. There is a mint mark under the eagle’s left leg. Reverse: At the left-hand side there is an image of a white and red ribbon rosette, the mark of Polish insurgents of the Grater Uprising. There is also the eagle emblem in different shades of gray. On the right-hand side, there is an image of a bust of Ignacy Jan Paderewski. In the background there is an excerpt of an appeal issued by the Headquarters of Ostrów Military District. At the top there is an inscription: 90. ROCZNICA, and at the bottom: POWSTANIA WIELKOPOLSKIEGO Coin designer: Urszula Walerzak
