Poland 10 Zlotych 2008 - Polish Travellers and Explorers: Bronisław Piłsudski - Proof / Silver

Obverse: On the left there is the image of an eagle established as the emblem of the Republic of Poland. In the middle, against a background of mountains images, there are images of: a man and a woman holding a baby in her arms, dressed in Ainu costumes. On the right there is a vertical image of a fragment of an Ainu dress ornament. Below the figures, in the center, there is an inscription: 10 ZŁ, on the right there is the year of issue: 2008, on the left there is an image of a fragment of an Ainu dress ornament. At the top and on the right there is a semicircular inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA. There is the mint mark under the eagle’s left leg. Reverse: A stylized image of Bronisław Piłsudski’s bust. On the left there is an image of a fragment of an Ainu dress ornament. On the right there is a vertical inscription: BRONISŁAW / PIŁSUDSKI and a horizontal inscription: 1866-/-1918.
