Ukraine 2 Hryvni 2004 - Serhiy Lyfar

The coin is dedicated to the birth centenary of Serhii Mykhailovych Lyfar, an outstanding ballet dancer, choreographer, pedagogue and ballet theorist. On the coin obverse against the background of a relief square there is depicted a dancer`s figure as Ikar`s character (one of the most famous parts of Lyfar); to the right against the coin smooth background there is the small National Emblem of Ukraine and semicircular inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, (Ukraine) 2004, 2, ГРИВНІ (2004 / Ukraine/ 2 /hryvnia) and the Mint logotype the National bank of Ukraine On the coin reverse there is Serzh Lyfar`s profile portrait and inscriptions: СЕРЖ ЛИФАР (Serzh Lyfar) (beneath) in two lines and 1904-1986, his years of life - to the right.
