The obverse has: within the circular geometric ornament – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; beneath – year of issue and alloy standard; inscriptions along the rim – at the top: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES).
The reverse has: at the top – the stylized effigy of the Football World Cup year – "2006" and of the football; at the bottom – inscription in three lines "ФУТБОЛ" (FOOTBALL), "ЧЭМПIЯНАТ СВЕТУ" (WORLD CUP)
