The reverse:
on the mirror surface in the centre of the disc, in the foreground - the relief image of monastery walls whith a corner tower, to the left at the rim - an arch with three small towers, in the background - cathedrals of the monastery, to the left - a church; inscriptions along the rim - above on a wide matted stripe: "ФЕРАПОНТОВ ЛУЖЕЦКИЙ МОНАСТЫРЬ" (FERAPONTOV LUZHETSKY MONASTERY), below on the matted field: "МОЖАЙСК" (MOZHAISK).
The obverse:
in the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim - on top: "ТРИ РУБЛЯ" (THREE RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre - the year of issue "2012 г."
